A Russian circus visits the US. A clown wants to defect, but doesn't have the nerve. His saxophone playing friend Vladimir (Robin Williams) comes to the decision to defect in the middle of Bloomingdales. He is befriended by the black security guard and falls in love with the Italian immigrant from behind the perfume counter. We follow his life as he works his way through the American dream and tries to find work as a musician.

At 0:04:32, there is some 3 club juggling in the background for about 10 seconds.

At 0:12:42, Lyudmila Kramarevskaya, playing Vladimir's mother, juggles 3 rolls of toilet paper in his apartment in Moscow for 2 seconds.

At 1:43:21, she again juggles toilet paper rolls, but this time it is on the sidewalk in New York for 14 seconds.
